Kristen Magiros grew up in Howard County, Maryland. She attended St. Mary's College of Maryland where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. While in law school at the University of Baltimore, Kristen was awarded the Clinical Legal Education Association (CLEA) Outstanding Student Award. CLEA is a national organization that recognizes law students who have excelled in clinical fieldwork in law school by providing high-quality representation to clients. The award is based on excellence in casework and the quality and extent of the student's contribution to the clinical community.
After graduation from law school, Kristen has worked in private practice, focusing on family law and estate planning. Kristen now primarily handles estate planning and administration. Her background in family law allows her to help clients navigate difficult family dynamics and blended families.
Kristen was rated Super Lawyer, Rising Star for 2021 and 2022. She was also rated by Expertise as one of the Top 40 Best Probate Attorneys in Baltimore for 2022.
Kristen is licensed to practice law in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is also a commissioned Maryland Notary Public. In her spare time, she enjoys being a mom of two, playing with her dogs, and traveling.
